Are you a Spinal Cord Injured person in need of face masks for your helpers to protect you from the coronavirus?
ESCIF is planning to make sufficient masks available to you through its 32 national member organisations in 28 European countries.
People with a high Spinal Cord Injury (tetraplegic/quadriplegic) in need of daily care or assistance are in the high risk category in relation to the Coronavirus, with reduced immune system and/or respiratory issues.
ESCIF is specifically aiming to help these people by providing the households of this critical group of SCI with a quantity of medical grade face masks for their carers, assistants and therapists over the coming months.* The masks will be made available for free to this vulnerable group by ESCIF’s 32 national member organisations in 28 European countries. Please help to ensure these particularly vulnerable people receive this and any other available, potentially lifesaving, PPE.
No vulnerable group of people should be forced to choose between their safety and the need to access essential care, a situation we want your help in resolving as quickly as possible!
You can register to receive a box of 50 masks from your national Spinal Cord Injury
organisation. All you have to do is fill out the online form on this page, confirm that you qualify for the help and send it off.
With its 32 national organisations in 28 countries in place, the ESCIF has a well-connected infrastructure to ensure that particularly vulnerable people receive these face masks.*
